1st place winner in a creative free-form contest for Rock Sound Rum (RSR), a tiki-inspired company with retro vibes. RSR invited 12 of their favorite Austin creatives to participate and help drive brand recognition. Armed with 2 bottles of rum and 4 quarantine days to submit, I made 2 stops for materials and rummaged through my things to creative direct a few directions that aligned with RSR’s ethos.
With 1K+ views, submissions were posted on their Instagram Stories for 24 hours and voted by their followers. RSR featured me as an artist on their social page, receiving 2x more engagement than other top contestants. In totality, this contest generated 450 new RSR followers and increased engagement that week by 35%.
